Well, this marks a series of new beginnings.

It is the beginning of a new year for myself, almost a 1/3 of the way through my life (hopefully not more). It is the beginning of a new career for me; what I do is basically the same, but whom I work for is now different. I’m at a much larger firm now (doing ~150x more business than my old one), so the job security thing is good. But I do miss having windows, a door and walls that go all the way to the ceilings. Although the working area in my cube is larger than when I was over at AppSig, I miss having an office. But having some of my former co-workers here has made the transition fairly easy. Now if only I had something to do…

Oh! It’s also the beginning of my new blog. Yep. My first official post using GreyMatter. Hopefully things will run smoothly and nothing breaks. Hopefully :)

This also marks the birth of the new page design. I will add more pages when I feel inspired. But for now, just bear with me.
