Do a google search on the following phrase:

“Killing children for the benefit of pig farmers”

Look at the first site on the list.

Ahh, those silly Canadians!

Do you know what’s nice?

Sitting around with people who care for you, drinking hot tea in front of a warm fire while listening sound of the ocean crashing on the beach behind you. Waking up warm and snuggly to the smell of bacon frying and eggs cooking. Running on the beach with an affectionate dog.

But most of all, knowing that there are people who love you in spite of all your faults.

People may doubt what you say, but they believe what you do

I can’t stand self-righteous people. I can’t stand people who puts themselves on a high pedestal just so they can look down on people.

Whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted

I hate it when people say stuff to me like, “You know, you should think about the consequences of your actions before you do it.” Fuck you. Do you really think that I don’t consider other people’s feelings when I do something? I’m sorry if you feel hurt, but life’s tough. The world doesn’t revolve around you, contrary to your belief.

I hate it when people respond to a hard question (like those in Scruples) with, “Most people would probably do this, but I would do the opposite.” It’s one thing to be posed with a question and situation and another one to experience it. Don’t think you’re fooling anyone with your false sense of ethics. You’re not. I know how you really are…

If you’re wondering, “Is he talking about me?”, then I probably am. Those two “examples” are two seperate people who I know. Why the anger this morning? No reason in particular. Just something that I’ve been thinking about ever since I tried to have a conversation with a friend who’s been having problems.

So the last shall be first, and the first last

We - or at least I - shall not be able to adore God on the highest occasions if we have learned no habit of doing so on the lowest. At best, our faith and reason will tell us that He is adorable, but we shall not have found Him so, not have “tasted and seen.” Any patch of sunlight in a wood will show you something about the sun which you could never get from reading books on astronomy. These pure and spontaneous pleasures are “patches of godlight” in the woods of experience.
