October 2003

Ok, so Tracey and I didn’t go to Vegas this weekend, but it ended up being a nice one anyways. Very relaxing and something that I definitely needed.

With that in mind, I came into work this morning only to be greeted by this:

Carol-not-that-it-matters-whom-i-choose
reward: mandrake
immunity: capt’n morgan
bootys: Trish, rhino

Ack! Sent at 4.37pm, way after the deadline. Oh well…looks like I’m sharing points with her.

Also saw this:

Due to the variance in my arrival time here at GD - I am now going to promote the Good Golden Gate driver award. I’ll decide who has had the least amount of incidents and that person will get a prize. Why am I doing this - because you people scare me…for example

just today - the Land Rover was going 50 mph until she deftly turned into a spot and turned off the engine. Yep, heaven forbid you were in Carol’s way.

last week - I was driving with the person Dave claims is “ever lost”. Maybe it is because he is driving a Porsche now - but that man feels the need to speed and hugs the curb even in a regular size car.

the week before I caught Tina doing the hair toss and then revving up the celica convertible.

Joe told me at lunch that his steering column jumped - so if you see a Focus making a turn - hold your breath

and I can’t count the number of times I have seen Allen racing Central Expressway…lead foot Ellis they call him…

Thank goodness I always get in before Julie :)

Words cannot express how proud i am today of my sister, who ran in the Marine Marathon in D.C. She finished with an unofficial result of 5 hours 40 minutes.

She is awesome. She is one of the strongest people i’ve ever known. i’m proud to be her brother.

i think i’ll be wearing this huge ass smile on my face the rest of the day :)

There’s nothing quite like waking up to the smell of bacon cooking. Or walking into the house with the smell of bacon lingering in the air.

*sniiiiffff*

ahh…

thanks to carol for telling me about the niemann ranch uncured bacon. It’s a little saltier than most, but it’s oh so good. this is how i like to spend my sunday mornings…nice breakfast, steaming coffee, quiet sounds of the world around me and some good reading…

if only i could start off everyday like this!

it’s a great day in the world when a team with a payroll less than 1/3 of their opponent wins.

even better when the losers are the yankees :)
ahh, jeff is happy…

Just got home from Na’s after seeing a movie with the motwm gang…

So much for my previous idea…now it looks like the next free night I have will be the 27th.

*yawn*

Time for bed!

(p.s. Go Marlins!)
