found out yesterday that i’m going to be doing a bit of traveling this month, as part of my new role as lead systems engineer for the Compass Call program…good way to rack up those frequent flier miles!
so, i’ll be in palmdale tomorrow and thursday, nashua all next week, and dayton june 1-3.
anyone wanna meet up and grab some dinner?

ugh, i’m tired and i’m hurting in various places around the body…
i wanted to get to bed early last night, after a long, exhausting weekend down in redwood glen. ended up going to bed ’round 9.45pm, with some stiffness (muscle tightness?) in my right knee, left shoulder and right hand. don’t ask me why those areas specifically help, but they do. the knee is better, as i’m no longer limping along. unlike nancy…
last weekend was the annual closing retreat for Confirmation. i didn’t have my own small group this year; i was more of the roving reporter of sorts. i took lots of pictures of the events, most of which i’m actually happy ’bout. i’ve been trying to take more artistic type photos, even when just simply chronicling events. i’m going to work on some of the portraits i took tonight and upload them to deviant art. I have some stuff up there now, if you want to take a look.
my cousin bought the new nikon d70, which is totally cool. we’ve been talking ’bout going out on photo excursions ever since i got my canon 300d, and now it looks like it’s going to happen. i’m excited to have yet another photography buddy!
oh, i did make two people cry this weekend and i don’t really feel sorry for either incidents. ok, maybe i feel bad in one case, but i expect a lot out of my leaders, and then they disappoint me, i let them know.
i wanted to take this opportunity to personally thank rhyan, mike, alaina and sarah for doing such a wonderful job this weekend. best bunch of leaders any group can have!
i need another day to recover…
