doh…i forgot to make a backup copy of my style sheet before i upgraded to the new version of wordpress

things will look funky for a while until i get time to fix it…

ok, today is now officially the worst day of my life…

there’s nothing i like more than unexpected surprises. especially when they take the form of a UPS box at my front door.

normally i don’t enter or exit my house through my front door. car goes in garage, car goes out. i usually don’t pay attention much to the going-ons up there, as evidenced by my sad looking, yet still alive malwatered house plant at the top of the steps. but i saw there was a bunch of notices taped up to residents’ homes so i look up and see one that had fallen off the door. so i clod up the steps and look down at my plant to see a small box sitting there. i’m all like, i didn’t order anything recently…what could it be?

how awesome! totally made my day so the lesson for the day was, bitch and you shall receive!

i’m physically exhausted & mentally drained. i should also be emotionally hurt, but for some reason i’m actually not. it’s hard to explain, but i think that i prepared myself a while ago for disappointment, so when things were clarified and the result was something that wasn’t as bad as i thought it would be, i think was glad.

i learned that i totally can’t multitask. trying to catch up on my hebrew scriptures reading while catching up on my tv is a futile task. trying to prepare a prayer service while watching the red sox get their asses kicked took way too much time than it should have. i have to read all of henry v by class on thursday but in reality i need to finish it by monday since i have evening commitments tuesday and wednesday evening. today was a wash as i spent the day in a youth ministry training seminar.

now i know how she feels…
